The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dumitru Macovei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerônimo de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Schiau, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Ernesto Hoffmann got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jerônimo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Schiau in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Marin Panait cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1.
