The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Guib helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Guib. Bruno Cuellar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Ekialde, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Kaiser!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Lino Ekialde scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Cuellar, making the score, 1-0. Estudiantes de América's Gustavo Bautista was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Julian Ilardia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Erasto. Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustavo Bautista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 28th playminute. With a little luck, Kaiser!'s Bruno Cuellar got control of the ball when Gustavo Bautista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvano Guib hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Gustavo Bautista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Bruno Cuellar made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Texeira Rancaño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Lino Ekialde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Ekialde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Kaiser!'s goalkeeper Bruno Cuellar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Bautista. Gustavo Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Cuellar having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

57 minutes into the match, Kaiser!'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Bautista came free, but Bruno Cuellar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Kaiser! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carcelén Oribe to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Rolando Erasto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carcelén Oribe. When Silvano Guib was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 72nd match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Guib to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Erasto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Julian Ilardia. Lino Ekialde struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Bruno Cuellar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. In the 78th minute Lino Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Cuellar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Carcelén Oribe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaiser!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Carcelén Oribe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lino Ekialde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Cuellar was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Bruno Cuellar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Ekialde in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Ekialde in the 97th minute of play forced Kaiser!'s goalkeeper Bruno Cuellar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kaiser! players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Estudiantes de América.
