After 5 minutes of play, Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Ermo Laaser made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arjen Rodenboog was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jass Rihma hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Arjen Rodenboog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennu Öövel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ermo Laaser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arjen Rodenboog was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermo Laaser came free, but Arjen Rodenboog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Buitenhout FC defense, Ermo Laaser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arjen Rodenboog. The Buitenhout FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arjen Rodenboog should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Vuntsidega Vägimehed booed when Buitenhout FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Kiewit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willem Oosterman's late challenge caught a Vuntsidega Vägimehed's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willem Oosterman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Willem Oosterman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermo Laaser scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arjen Rodenboog, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermo Laaser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arjen Rodenboog having to interfere. After 35th play minutes Gabriel Kask shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Arjen Rodenboog and just under the crossbar into goal. Jass Rihma kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half Vuntsidega Vägimehed were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Vuntsidega Vägimehed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raido Viks didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ennu Öövel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arjen Rodenboog. That made the score 0-5 in the 59 minute of play. Arjen Rodenboog made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Mihkel Randoja sent off a good shot on target. Armin Linnus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buitenhout FC's Arjen Rodenboog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennu Öövel in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Ermo Laaser slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arjen Rodenboog. That made the score 0-6 after 72 minutes of play. Arjen Rodenboog came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Vuntsidega Vägimehed's Ennu Öövel. But to his dismay, Ennu Öövel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennu Öövel in the 82nd minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Arjen Rodenboog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arjen Rodenboog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermo Laaser, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
