The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8th play minutes Luiz Fabiano Dracena shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Viktor Blomberg and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind OxentePaisa Salcity's goalkeeper Johan Redbone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Vallman to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Blomberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Canellas in the 23rd minute of the match. Johan Redbone was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Per-Arne Lång capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Per-Arne Lång really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Walter Asklöv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konrad Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Arne Lång stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Hybbert to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fabiano Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Viktor Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, spikarna's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luiz Fabiano Dracena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 76th minute, Wesley Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Lång. Alex Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Patrik Berggren got a free kick in the 80th minute. Luiz Fabiano Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Viktor Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. spikarna's Viktor Blomberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save spikarna from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded OxentePaisa Salcity left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than spikarna.
