Pepito Nobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Vinicio Collado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xuoco Canal to maneuver through the defense. Candelario Corte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Collado having to interfere. A collision led to RomoLerouX UniteD UXX getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Venceslao Capdevila hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Zaquiel Boñar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astillero del Guayas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaquiel Boñar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pepito Nobal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Carredano was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepito Nobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes RomoLerouX UniteD UXX got a freekick which was hit by Pepito Nobal. In the 70th minute, Zaquiel Boñar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aragón Gili was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Astillero del Guayas's Vinicio Collado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepito Nobal in the 74th minute of play. Zaquiel Boñar might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aragón Gili. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaquiel Boñar ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Candelario Corte came free, but Vinicio Collado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Astillero del Guayas! Astillero del Guayas's Lastra Trilla suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 95 minutes into the game, Candelario Corte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astillero del Guayas the free kick. Astillero del Guayas made a substitution. Juan-Angel Ordax replaced Lastra Trilla. Candelario Corte kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Astillero del Guayas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
