Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Ionică Alb successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcel Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Enceanu in the 12th minute of play. Ionică Alb was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hílton Abraão. After 15 minutes, Eusebiu Uncescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpathian Wolves and the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eusebiu Uncescu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ionică Alb was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hílton Abraão. After 16 minutes, Sabin Ciomag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpathian Wolves and the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA made a substitution. Carlinhos Rodrigues replaced Túlio Gaúcho. The supporters of FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Ciomag didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathian Wolves from getting a goal against them. Marcel Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Encuțescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. João Carlos Melo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Abraão in the 24th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Ionică Alb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Nicu Enceanu made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Encuțescu in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb got control of the ball when Carlinhos Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doru Ghiondea's late challenge caught a FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doru Ghiondea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Doru Ghiondea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathian Wolves from getting a goal against them. Marcel Severo came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathian Wolves's Nicu Enceanu. But to his dismay, Nicu Enceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Ionică Alb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Abraão in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Barbăroșie in the 59th minute of play forced FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goalkeeper Marcel Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Severo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Nicu Enceanu sent off a good shot on target. Marcel Severo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathian Wolves's Valer Barbăroșie. But to his dismay, Valer Barbăroșie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 66 minutes into the game, Carpathian Wolves's Valer Barbăroșie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Severo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Ionică Alb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Abraão in the 71st minute of the match. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Andrei Encuțescu scored to the left of an out of position Marcel Severo, making the score, 0-6. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goalkeeper Marcel Severo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Andrei Encuțescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpathian Wolves and the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Carpathian Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Encuțescu to maneuver through the defense. If Nicu Enceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Rodrigues in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Marcel Severo got control of the ball when Andrei Encuțescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carpathian Wolves's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
