In the 8th minute Muhannad Ajram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Hudson Esteves got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Que se abra o mar's zone, Kareem Dajaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Cardozo came out of the goal and Kareem Dajaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Borhan Ruwaid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Líbano's supporters rose to their feet, but Borhan Ruwaid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhannad Ajram in the 30th minute of play forced Que se abra o mar's goalkeeper Leandro Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Ronaldo Serra elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Muhannad Ajram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Gino Amaral got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hisham Khalif hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Líbano's Leandro Cardozo threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kareem Dajaj, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Líbano's Muhannad Ajram in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Que se abra o mar's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Serra to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Claudinei Silveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fatih Adas. Claudinei Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When David Matos fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Que se abra o mar's protests and gave David Matos a yellow card for diving instead. If Kareem Dajaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Serra hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Kareem Dajaj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Líbano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kareem Dajaj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fatih Adas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronaldo Serra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Líbano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Tajid to maneuver through the defense. If Ronaldo Serra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kareem Dajaj's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Líbano's Hisham Khalif got a free kick in the 86th minute. Muhannad Ajram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Leandro Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Carlos Baptista during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Que se abra o mar got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Baptista. The Que se abra o mar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
