The goal made the score 1-0. Zula Gejda struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Hardo Kangur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gdansk36. 8 minutes into the match, Konrad Kanczuszewski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club Ahja's Hardo Kangur. Hardo Kangur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC Gdansk36 booed when Club Ahja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihkel Kaldoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Club Ahja's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Gejda came free, but Hardo Kangur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witold Matela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hillar Käps, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Club Ahja booed when FC Gdansk36 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Kanczuszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdur Rohi made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 30thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Witold Matela would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Marek Czekaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Club Ahja got a freekick which was hit by Argo Laenaja. In the 36th minute, Marek Czekaj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hardo Kangur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 41st minute, Mihkel Kaldoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Czekaj in the 46th minute of play forced Club Ahja's goalkeeper Hardo Kangur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Club Ahja's Valdur Rohi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Witold Matela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marek Czekaj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marek Czekaj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Hardo Kangur made a huge save. Zula Gejda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hardo Kangur having to interfere. Hardo Kangur made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Marek Czekaj sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdur Rohi in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Witold Matela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Valdur Rohi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witold Matela was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. FC Gdansk36's Witold Matela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hillar Käps in the 73rd minute of play. When Szymon Trzenzalski fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gdansk36's protests and gave Szymon Trzenzalski a yellow card for diving instead. Szymon Trzenzalski hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Witold Matela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdur Rohi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marek Czekaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hardo Kangur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes FC Gdansk36 got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Trzenzalski. Hillar Käps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Gdansk36's Kajetan Zjawin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. FC Gdansk36's Witold Matela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urmo Leier in the 88th minute of play. Zula Gejda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hardo Kangur having to interfere. Witold Matela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hillar Käps in the 96th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
