Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viktoras Lazarou started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktoras Lazarou in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garry Heijlen saved De Beverpatrouille from getting behind. Garry Heijlen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktoras Lazarou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute of the match ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. got a corner. De Beverpatrouille's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Theofilos Liaros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Viktoras Trechalidis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gillis Van Achter kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Viktoras Lazarou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garry Heijlen. De Beverpatrouille's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktoras Lazarou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ruben Van den Haute hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harald Matthieu during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theofilos Liaros took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garry Heijlen. Garry Heijlen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gillis Van Achter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bernd Castermans managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Beverpatrouille's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernd Castermans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigoris Smernos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Luka De Bruyn fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Beverpatrouille's protests and gave Luka De Bruyn a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luka De Bruyn hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernd Castermans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viktoras Lazarou took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garry Heijlen. Garry Heijlen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. A collision led to ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Viktoras Trechalidis hit a great ball. Garry Heijlen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Merganiotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Viktoras Lazarou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Giannis Merganiotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garry Heijlen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Merganiotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th match minute, De Beverpatrouille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Matthieu to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Van den Haute blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grigoris Smernos having to make a save. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Giannis Merganiotis got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Luka De Bruyn. Viktoras Lazarou struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Garry Heijlen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.. In the 93rd minute, Harald Matthieu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
