After 34 minutes of play, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Giannis Merganiotis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Forsman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktoras Lazarou made a kick off. Östen Bennet hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Viktoras Lazarou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Dan Forsman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Giannis Merganiotis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BENA FK.
