Lars-Erik Täman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Lefkos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ove Lindkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Ove Lindkvists short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Grigoris Smernos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute, Giannis Merganiotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theofilos Liaros kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Lars-Erik Täman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofilos Liaros in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Lefkos in the 27th minute of play forced Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Täman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Robíño Football Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ulrik Törnblom hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Robíño Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Andersson. In the 36th minute, Panos Tsarouchas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niklas Jonssons short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Grigoris Smernos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stratos Lefkos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Niklas Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Smernos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Stratos Lefkos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Niklas Jonsson made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Niklas Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robíño Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigoris Smernos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Niklas Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 played minutes Robíño Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Törnblom. Lars-Erik Täman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theofilos Liaros in the 75th minute. When Niklas Andersson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Robíño Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Andersson couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Niklas Jonsson sped through ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Grigoris Smernos. Grigoris Smernos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklas Jonsson's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Grigoris Smernos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Andersson in the 92nd minute of play. Robíño Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
