The audience thought a goal was coming when Loi Urrutia got free with Freddie Daniel in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Hawley kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Cristobal Cepa struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Freddie Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AlmaToran. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Marvin Squires put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Urko Baezabal. 27 minutes into the match, AlmaToran's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Squires came free, but Urko Baezabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Lee Delong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moorefield AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ignacio Leira hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in AlmaToran's zone, Emanuel Hawley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urko Baezabal came out of the goal and Emanuel Hawley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Hawley charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Hawley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ignacio Leira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of AlmaToran booed when Moorefield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Hawley didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loi Urrutia in the 41st minute of play forced Moorefield AFC's goalkeeper Freddie Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marvin Squires to strike the kick off in the second half. AlmaToran's Ignacio Leira got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of AlmaToran booed when Moorefield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Delong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lee Delong's late challenge caught a AlmaToran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lee Delong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Leira scored 1-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddie Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marvin Squires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urko Baezabal having to interfere. Marvin Squires kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Urko Baezabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Delong, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a little luck, AlmaToran's Urko Baezabal got control of the ball when Lee Delong tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Moorefield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Loi Urrutia came free, but Freddie Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute of the match Moorefield AFC got a corner. AlmaToran's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Hawley ran over to the corner to take the kick. Quilo Infante tried in the game's 98th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Urko Baezabal. An annoying self made goal, 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moorefield AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
