One of Golden Tigers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Zhelezna:s goal. 10 minutes into the match, Marko Saparevski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Golden Tigers's František Skoupý. František Skoupý was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Zhelezna's Dobromir Gospodinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Špalek in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Golden Tigers defense, Vute Vukov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of František Skoupý. The Golden Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that František Skoupý should have stopped the shot. Leopold Brtník's late challenge caught a FC Zhelezna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopold Brtník helped the player get up and apologised. Leopold Brtník kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Saparevski came free, but František Skoupý reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Zhelezna's Vute Vukov got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dobromir Gospodinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Špalek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when FC Zhelezna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyubomir Sharaliyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vute Vukov during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vute Vukov hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Michal Uhlíř. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
