The supporters of Olivos Futbol Club booed when Coice de Mula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Eduardo Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Lando in the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Silvestre Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olivos Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Chan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Eduardo Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Alves in the 11th minute of play forced Olivos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Tadeo Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivos Futbol Club's Tadeo Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Neves in the 15th minute of play. Tadeo Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Proença in the 17th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Olivos Futbol Club's Luís Eduardo Rossi threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Godofredo Lando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute, Clóvis Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Luisito Quintun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Eduardo Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tadeo Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Adhemar Alves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Olivos Futbol Club's Tadeo Asur. Tadeo Asur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, Olivos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Proença came free, but Tadeo Asur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Coice de Mula a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eugênio Travassos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olivos Futbol Club's Tadeo Asur. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clóvis Guedes during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Olivos Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coice de Mula were winning 1-2.

Silvestre Chan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo Rossi having to make a save. 54 minutes into the match, Adhemar Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Asur. Olivos Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adhemar Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 57 minutes, Tadeo Raymond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivos Futbol Club and the Coice de Mula players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olivos Futbol Club's Tadeo Raymond got a free kick in the 57th minute. The long shot by Eugênio Travassos in the 58th minute really tested Tadeo Asur's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Olivos Futbol Club's Tadeo Asur got control of the ball when Adhemar Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Eduardo Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Chan in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th minute, William Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeo Asur. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 79th minute, Tadeo Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olivos Futbol Club's Tadeo Asur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Olivos Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Godofredo Lando scored 3-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Eduardo Rossi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Coice de Mula supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Coice de Mula would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
