The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Red Bull Club's Oliver Rajkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Telmo Trigo. Telmo Trigo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 7th minute Risto Cukovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Telmo Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Lurtim Ognjanovič came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Red Bull Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lurtim Ognjanovič couldn't finish the play. In the 18th match minute, Red Bull Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slave Uzunov to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Red Bull Club getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lirian Rajkovski hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Lirim Atanasovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Bull Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A. Francana the free kick. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Red Bull Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lirim Atanasovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Vergílio in the 26th minute of play forced Red Bull Club's goalkeeper Ognen Zografski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Lirim Atanasovski. The Red Bull Club fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Red Bull Club's Oliver Rajkov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when João Adolfo Leite made the kick off in the second half. Evandro Mangueira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Rajkov in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, Cido Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Rajkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Serginho Alagoano's late challenge caught a Red Bull Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serginho Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Slave Uzunov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lurtim Ognjanovič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Serginho Alagoano hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Rajkov in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Trigo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Risto Cukovski. After 76 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Lurtim Ognjanovič. Ognen Zografski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Rajkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Rajkov in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Oliver Rajkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal and Oliver Rajkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ognen Zografski made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Adolfo Leite in the 91st minute. In the 97th minute, Lurtim Ognjanovič ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1.
