Romeu Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Kornatowski in the 3rd minute of the match. Romeu Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Poniewaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 12th match minute, Beltrao F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. Romeu Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Dyczkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Jazwiec charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Rafal Poniewaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Romeu Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Kornatowski's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Rafal Poniewaz scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeu Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jaroslaw Marchlewicz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the KS Ruch Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Marchlewicz couldn't finish the play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hudson Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, KS Ruch Chorzów's Karol Kornatowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeu Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beltrao F.C's Romeu Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Poniewaz in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Elano Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elano Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Karol Kornatowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Samuel Zanette hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Hudson Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Chlapowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karol Kornatowski during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Beltrao F.C booed when KS Ruch Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Kornatowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Jaroslaw Marchlewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Beltrao F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KS Ruch Chorzów's performance. The match ended with a win for KS Ruch Chorzów.
