An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Pedro Asur got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Steffen De Jaeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Gorri in the 15th minute of the match. Pedro Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Academia de Campeones booed when Vc Brye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diedrik Goosens didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Academia de Campeones getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Godofredo Quin hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Pedro Asur made the kick off in the second half. Delmiro Celino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steffen De Jaeger having to make a save. If Delmiro Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Steffen De Jaeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vc Brye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steffen De Jaeger should have stopped the shot. Steffen De Jaeger came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia de Campeones's Pedro Asur. But to his dismay, Pedro Asur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Steffen De Jaeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Asur in the 97th minute of the match. Academia de Campeones walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
