The referee showed Luís Guilherme Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Guilherme Sampaio hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Dennis Staal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Compugraf getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Wilton Camargo hit a great ball. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Mohammadnezadjaneh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Igor Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Paulo Costa let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 31st minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Simon van Bronckhorst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Gregorian Juniors from getting a goal against them. After 37 played minutes Compugraf got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Lara. If Harold Kuipers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Compugraf's Igor Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Kuipers in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Compugraf's Júlio Neves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Júlio Neves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Compugraf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Júlio Neves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 48 played minutes Compugraf got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Neves. Ted Asselbergs struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Igor Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Gregorian Juniors. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Paulo Costa was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Dennis Staal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Gregorian Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 58th match minute, Boca Gregorian Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Staal to maneuver through the defense. Igor Ramos made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Dennis Staal sent off a good shot on target. Harold Kuipers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Igor Ramos came out and tried to block the shot, but Harold Kuipers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 66th minute. Márcio Domingues scored 2-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon van Bronckhorst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Compugraf's José Paulo Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, José Paulo Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon van Bronckhorst was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Boca Gregorian Juniors were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
