An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Azevedo in the 30th minute of play forced Noroeste Paulista's goalkeeper Serafim Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubinho Azevedo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafim Peres saved Noroeste Paulista from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Quadros in the 35th minute of play forced Noroeste Paulista's goalkeeper Serafim Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Rubinho Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brazil Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubinho Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Noroeste Paulista's Rodriguinho Sanches got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubinho Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brazil Academy's Armando Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Noroeste Paulista's Serafim Peres got control of the ball when Rubinho Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serafim Peres firmly grabbed it by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Nando Quadros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serafim Peres, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frédson Moura during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frédson Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Nando Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Serafim Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Noroeste Paulista's zone, Rodolfo Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim Peres came out of the goal and Rodolfo Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Noroeste Paulista's Serafim Peres got control of the ball when Rubinho Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubinho Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Serafim Peres made a huge save. After 85 played minutes Noroeste Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Veloso. If Nando Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Noroeste Paulista's Serafim Peres got control of the ball when Rubinho Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Brazil Academy booed when Noroeste Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Nando Quadros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafim Peres. Noroeste Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nando Quadros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Brazil Academy played a much better game than Noroeste Paulista and deserved their victory. The Noroeste Paulista players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
