They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Gonzales was the one to do the kick off. Marlin FC's Timoteo Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Dantas in the 54th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Gonzales. Armando Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Brazil Academy's Armando Meira in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Timoteo Evis guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 84 minutes into the game, Armando Meira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4.
