The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eduardo Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Turek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Rodrigues in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of TEIXEIRINHA FC booed when FC Gladiators Milošová was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dávid Mižič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal Dracena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viktor Turek. FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When TEIXEIRINHA FC's Nildo Rodrigues in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Gladiators Milošová's goalie prevented a goal. After 10 played minutes FC Gladiators Milošová got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Jedlík. Matúš Ďurčanský lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Gladiators Milošová! Viktor Turek had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Juvenal Dracena's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 16 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goalkeeper Duarte de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomáš Jastrab. In the 17th minute Eduardo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Turek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, FC Gladiators Milošová's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Rodrigues came free, but Viktor Turek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tomáš Jastrab managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gladiators Milošová's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomáš Jastrab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Eduardo Borges made a precise shot to the right of Viktor Turek. FC Gladiators Milošová's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Eduardo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Rodrigues in the 37th minute of play forced FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Viktor Turek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Fekiač hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Gladiators Milošová's Rudolf Fekiač got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Nildo Rodrigues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viktor Turek came out and tried to block the shot, but Nildo Rodrigues slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 51st minute. FC Gladiators Milošová's Viktor Turek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Rodrigues in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Rodrigues in the 57th minute of play forced FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Viktor Turek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Lukáč Mečiar had to leave the field with a concussion. After 58 minutes, Fábio Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TEIXEIRINHA FC and the FC Gladiators Milošová players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Gladiators Milošová made a substitution. Ivan Smatana replaced Lukáč Mečiar. In the 60th match minute, TEIXEIRINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Sá to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Jastrab came free, but Duarte de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, FC Gladiators Milošová was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Smatana to maneuver through the defense. When Eduardo Borges came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the TEIXEIRINHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Borges couldn't finish the play. Viktor Turek made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Eduardo Borges sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Ivan Smatana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. Duarte de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Jastrab in the 83rd minute of the match. Viktor Turek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Eduardo Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duarte de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gladiators Milošová's Ivan Smatana. But to his dismay, Ivan Smatana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Rudolf Fekiač hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
