Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Avram Terzian took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Avram Terzian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavin Lineker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 12 minutes of play, FC Maci -MM-'s Gelu Agârbiceanu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavin Lineker was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute, Gelu Agârbiceanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when AMAZON DU DAHOMEY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frankie Jenkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Agârbiceanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gavin Lineker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Terzian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Agârbiceanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Gavin Lineker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolae Pădureanu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavin Lineker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Ralph Beattie got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gelu Agârbiceanu got free with Gavin Lineker in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sonny Featherstone to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Spoială. In the 55th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Terzian to maneuver through the defense. Avram Terzian took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavin Lineker. Gavin Lineker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Gavin Lineker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Agârbiceanu in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Eugen Spoială hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Terzian in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavin Lineker saved AMAZON DU DAHOMEY from getting behind. Gavin Lineker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avram Terzian went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Avram Terzian managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Avram Terzian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavin Lineker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavin Lineker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Spoială in the 78th minute of play. When FC Maci -MM-'s Avram Terzian in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Agârbiceanu in the 80th minute of play forced AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalkeeper Gavin Lineker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gelu Agârbiceanu came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Agârbiceanu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolae Pădureanu in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavin Lineker saved AMAZON DU DAHOMEY from getting behind. Gavin Lineker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Agârbiceanu in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of AMAZON DU DAHOMEY booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Encuțoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Spoială. When the referee ended the match the FC Maci -MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
