After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 54 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Ronquillo. 56 minutes into the game, Xicu Hortero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YerBaTerOs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samba Fotboll U21 the free kick. In the 57th minute, Xicu Hortero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Pihl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fernández Fano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivar Sjödin took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernández Fano. Fernández Fano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Sjödin in the 67th minute of play forced YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Fernández Fano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Jácome Covarrubias. Fernández Fano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samba Fotboll U21. Ivar Sjödin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernández Fano having to interfere. Fernández Fano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Sjödin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Samba Fotboll U21 booed when YerBaTerOs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Zulueta didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the YerBaTerOs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Samba Fotboll U21.
