Fernando Veloso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blas Lauaxeta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Emanuel do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Seclantas AFC's Blas Lauaxeta made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Paulo Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Paulo Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Blas Lauaxeta put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Veloso. After 21 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Fernandes. Fernando Veloso made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Blas Lauaxeta sent off a good shot on target. Raul Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Veloso having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Blas Lauaxeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Veloso. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blas Lauaxeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Wilian de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel do Valle to make the kick off. Fernando Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Fabricio Cordarrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Veloso. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Veloso should have stopped the shot. In the 68thth minute of the game Blas Lauaxeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Blas Lauaxeta made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Veloso. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Fernando Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the Seclantas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel do Valle to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Fabricio Cordarrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Fernando Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the match, Wilian de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Iigo. Seclantas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilian de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Fernando Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Seclantas AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
