The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Göran Lidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pelle Rudqvist came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Xentrias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Rudqvist couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes of play, Xentrias's Pelle Rudqvist made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Lalla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the game, Aaron Kullgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xentrias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAI NEUQUEN the free kick. A collision led to Xentrias getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Aaron Kullgren hit a great ball. Nereo Santxol charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Santxol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute Damian Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Pelle Rudqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After having played for 31 minutes, Pelle Rudqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xentrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelle Rudqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Xentrias's Pelle Rudqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Lalla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match Xentrias got a corner. CAI NEUQUEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gert Österberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Xentrias's corner Gert Österberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodrigo Lalla quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Jonathan Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xentrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Lalla had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Morgan Ek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 2-0 came in the 43rd minute when Morgan Ek all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Rodrigo Lalla. Rodrigo Lalla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Rudqvist went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Barea made a kick off. Rodrigo Lalla came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Xentrias's Pelle Rudqvist. But to his dismay, Pelle Rudqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Gaston Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Österberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Pelle Rudqvist notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of CAI NEUQUEN's Rodrigo Lalla. Rodrigo Lalla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the game, Xentrias's Pelle Rudqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Lalla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jonathan Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xentrias's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Lalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Österberg in the 90th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pelle Rudqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrigo Lalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Rudqvist in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Göran Lidman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Lalla was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Xentrias walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
