The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leszek Olejasz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gunnar Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Xentrias's Pelle Rudqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Rydzyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 15th minute Piotr Klimkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Piotr Klimkiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xentrias's Gunnar Jakobsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piotr Klimkiewicz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Jakobsson saved Xentrias from getting behind. Edgar Rydzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Göran Lidman's late challenge caught a Red Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göran Lidman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Xentrias getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Göran Lidman hit a great ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xentrias's goalkeeper Gunnar Jakobsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Ludomir Piczak got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Rudqvist in the 37th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Edgar Rydzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Gert Österberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xentrias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Devils the free kick. A collision led to Xentrias getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gert Österberg hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Xentrias defense, Jedrzej Koprowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Jakobsson. The Xentrias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Jakobsson should have stopped the shot. Pelle Rudqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Edgar Rydzyk made a huge save. Edgar Rydzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jedrzej Koprowski to make the kick off. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pelle Rudqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Jedrzej Koprowski kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Göran Lidman made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Red Devils's Edgar Rydzyk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 minutes of play, Xentrias's Pelle Rudqvist made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Rydzyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Devils's goalkeeper Edgar Rydzyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81stth minute of the game Pelle Rudqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Devils's Edgar Rydzyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Rudqvist in the 83rd minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Edgar Rydzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Devils's Edgar Rydzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Joensson in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Xentrias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Joensson to maneuver through the defense. Jedrzej Koprowski scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Jakobsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xentrias were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Red Devils for a fine match.
