In the 20th minute, Januário Durães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Urbano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 24th minute, Elano Reis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Reis United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to KINGS FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. KINGS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Reis United the free kick. The supporters of S.C. Reis United booed when KINGS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolau Caldas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Trigo.

Diogo Ponte helped the player get up and apologised. Diogo Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes, S.C. Reis United's Clóvis Nunes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristóvão Freire came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C. Reis United reached it. In the 66th minute, Luisinho Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristóvão Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Cristóvão Freire came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Reis United's Elano Reis. But to his dismay, Elano Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Cristóvão Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolau Caldas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Diogo Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, KINGS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Esparteiro to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes KINGS FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Guimarães. For all the effort they put into the match, the KINGS FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.C. Reis United.
