Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) KINGS FC's Januário Durães started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvano Lohitzun made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Estevão Granja sent off a good shot on target. 4 minutes into the match, Estevão Granja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Lohitzun. A.A FÊNIX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Estevão Granja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Estevão Granja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KINGS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 12th minute, Humberto Haimar made a precise shot to the right of Cristóvão Freire. KINGS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 16 minutes into the match, A.A FÊNIX's goal looked a bit too open when Januário Durães came free, but Silvano Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KINGS FC booed when A.A FÊNIX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, A.A FÊNIX's Humberto Haimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristóvão Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 44th minute Humberto Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, A.A FÊNIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Harriet to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januário Durães in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to A.A FÊNIX getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Filomeno Arias hit a great ball. Silvano Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Ponte in the 61st minute of the match. Silvano Lohitzun came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by KINGS FC's Diogo Ponte. But to his dismay, Diogo Ponte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 70 minutes into the match, KINGS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Haimar came free, but Cristóvão Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevão Granja in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, KINGS FC's Estevão Granja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Lohitzun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The supporters of A.A FÊNIX booed when KINGS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevão Granja didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.A FÊNIX's zone, Estevão Granja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Lohitzun came out of the goal and Estevão Granja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gil Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes KINGS FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Guimarães. Niceto Abajas struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Cristóvão Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A FÊNIX. When Humberto Haimar came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the A.A FÊNIX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Haimar couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.A FÊNIX players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KINGS FC.
