Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Franky Van Der Elst started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Izydor Rakiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, José Luis Cuciuffo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Piszczor. Jadymy Durś's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Luis Cuciuffo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garry Nancy to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Garry Nancy got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gez Winship acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Izydor Rakiewicz. After having played for 19 minutes, Ken Blackwater managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Blackwater was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Ian Webb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Jadymy Durś defense, José Luis Cuciuffo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Piszczor. The Jadymy Durś fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Piszczor should have stopped the shot. Florian Solibieda hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Wasyl Derlanga kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Fleming in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Franky Van Der Elst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Piszczor came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo. But to his dismay, José Luis Cuciuffo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, José Luis Cuciuffo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters rose to their feet, but José Luis Cuciuffo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Piszczor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Rakiewicz in the 42nd minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Gez Winship to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Michael Kellaway. In the 47th minute of the match Izydor Rakiewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gez Winship skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Izydor Rakiewicz was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, one of Jadymy Durś:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jadymy Durś. The referee gave Memphis Grizzlies a penalty, 52 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Luis Cuciuffo got free with Edgar Piszczor in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes Jadymy Durś got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Cempa. 61 minutes in the game Florian Solibieda did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Franciszek Jeziorkowski. 68 minutes into the match, Jadymy Durś's goalkeeper Edgar Piszczor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Luis Cuciuffo. Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Brian Patterson replaced Harry Johnson. Memphis Grizzlies's Franz Henry was substituted for José Luis Cuciuffo. Edgar Piszczor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ken Blackwater, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Jadymy Durś getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tanek Zachemski hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Brian Patterson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Memphis Grizzlies's Gez Winship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Rakiewicz in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Henry in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Piszczor saved Jadymy Durś from getting behind. Gez Winship showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Rakiewicz in the 92nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Franz Henry could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Edgar Piszczor however easily saved by the left post. Florian Solibieda got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Franciszek Jeziorkowski. The Memphis Grizzlies players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
