With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Lamru in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Barroso saved AD Pontassolense from getting behind. The supporters of YR☆ Village Superstars booed when AD Pontassolense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adão Semedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AD Pontassolense's Joaquim Palhares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paul Papaiani. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, YR☆ Village Superstars's Leontin Azamfirei got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, YR☆ Village Superstars's Mugurel Oprea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimiro Barroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in YR☆ Village Superstars's zone, Vítor Patrício stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Papaiani came out of the goal and Vítor Patrício tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 35 in the game by Vítor Patrício from a close distance when the talented Paul Papaiani managed to make a qualified save. YR☆ Village Superstars's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, YR☆ Village Superstars's Leontin Hațegan got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 38 played minutes YR☆ Village Superstars got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Tutunaru. YR☆ Village Superstars's Paul Papaiani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save YR☆ Village Superstars from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, YR☆ Village Superstars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Oanță to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Patrício could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Paul Papaiani made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugurel Oprea to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Oprea in the 53rd minute of play forced AD Pontassolense's goalkeeper Vladimiro Barroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Vítor Patrício ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Papaiani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Edgar Oanță could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Vladimiro Barroso however easily saved by the left post. Joaquim Palhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AD Pontassolense's Vladimiro Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Oprea in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Oanță got free with Vladimiro Barroso in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Oanță succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 73rd playminute. After 76 played minutes YR☆ Village Superstars got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Azamfirei. 78 minutes into the match, Vítor Patrício had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Papaiani. YR☆ Village Superstars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Patrício was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 4-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Joaquim Palhares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vítor Patrício sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Papaiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Patrício, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. YR☆ Village Superstars's Damian Lamru got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítor Patrício took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Papaiani. Paul Papaiani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. AD Pontassolense's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
