Segundo Hartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AD Pontassolense. AD Pontassolense's Vladimiro Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Tercero in the 43rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Portela during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Vítor Patrício got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 90th minute, Higinio Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quitilipi's Segundo Hartz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Quitilipi from getting a goal against them.
