Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oséas Botelho kicked off to start the match. Leon Burr kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Ademar Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademar Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maverick Futebol Clube! Desmond Rowell walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Leon Myrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio dos Santos having to interfere. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Hess, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Victor Hess ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caio dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Santos FC's Victor Hess nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Oséas Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rusty Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio dos Santos came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Victor Hess. But to his dismay, Victor Hess quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Caio dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Rowell in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Leon Myrick came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Myrick couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Maverick Futebol Clube's Roger Rossi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Roger Rossi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Maverick Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roger Rossi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Roger Rossi got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Desmond Rowell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, one of Santos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Maverick Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santos FC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Victor Hess made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Santos FC's Victor Hess dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Santos FC's Leon Myrick got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Forrest Hopkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percival Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes, Raimundo Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Raimundo Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percival Marinho hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Percival Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusty Little saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos FC's Victor Hess came free and shot a quick shot against goal 79 minutes in the game, fortunately Caio dos Santos had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Raimundo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rusty Little having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Hess came free, but Caio dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Hess who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Caio dos Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Caio dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Burr in the 94th minute of the match. Sérgio Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Santos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maverick Futebol Clube throughout the match.
