In the 2nd match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Smart to maneuver through the defense. Hans Ladd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stor Banan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lawrence Smart hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Arvid Bremming was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Desmond Rowell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Desmond Rowell really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 17th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Myrick to maneuver through the defense. Arvid Bremming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherwood Franks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desmond Rowell in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvid Bremming prevented the ball from getting in the gole. August Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Arvid Bremming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherwood Franks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Santos FC got a corner. Sacri FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Desmond Rowell ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Desmond Rowell drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Sacri FC's goalkeeper. 29 minutes into the match, Victor Hess notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sacri FC's Arvid Bremming. Arvid Bremming was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santos FC's Hans Ladd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Rudqvist in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Desmond Rowell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arvid Bremming, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Hess got free with Arvid Bremming in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Ingvar Kvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredric Rudqvist made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Rudqvist in the 56th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Hans Ladd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvid Bremming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Rowell in the 57th minute of play. Hans Ladd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Forrest Hopkins hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Karl-Axel Olsman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Santos FC's Hans Ladd didn't even have to move. 70 minutes into the game, Desmond Rowell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacri FC the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desmond Rowell to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Desmond Rowell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Harry Haraldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Ladd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Hans Ladd managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Sacri FC's Harry Haraldsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th minute Harry Haraldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Ladd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Sacri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Berg to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Lawrence Smart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Desmond Rowell hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Harry Haraldsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Ladd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Haraldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Harry Haraldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Ladd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When August Mattsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. After 90 played minutes Sacri FC got a freekick which was hit by August Mattsson. Hans Ladd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Haraldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Santos FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
