Ciano Sainz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomir Gazenov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Jordi Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of C.D. Ciudad de Soria booed when Laziali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milen Kaydzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quico Castro during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciano Sainz in the 24th minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Radomir Gazenov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria got a freekick which was hit by Ciano Sainz. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of C.D. Ciudad de Soria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laziali:s goal. In the 31st minute, Vincente Japón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radomir Gazenov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Radomir Gazenov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciano Sainz in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Laziali's Milen Kaydzhiev seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Milen Kaydzhiev the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Laziali protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Milen Kaydzhiev had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laziali fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Radomir Gazenov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciano Sainz in the 44th minute of play. Radomir Gazenov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincente Japón in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ciano Sainz took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Radomir Gazenov to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th minute Jordi Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Gazenov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastia Coira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Plamen Hadzhiyanev, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Laziali's goalkeeper Radomir Gazenov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jordi Morales. If Ciano Sainz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cebrián Sans scored 1-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomir Gazenov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Ciano Sainz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radomir Gazenov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Stoyadin Búchvarov hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Laziali's goal looked a bit too open when Cebrián Sans came free, but Radomir Gazenov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jordi Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomir Gazenov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciano Sainz in the 83rd minute of the match. Plamen Hadzhiyanev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jordi Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordi Morales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Gazenov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciudad de Soria's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
