Montay Gaviria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Luiz Eduardo Novaes made a huge save. A collision led to Se7e getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Walmir França hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Se7e's Adhemar de Sena seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adhemar de Sena the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Se7e protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adhemar de Sena had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The long shot by Nuno Arena in the 12th minute really tested Luiz Eduardo Novaes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Walmir França fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Se7e's protests and gave Walmir França a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Walmir França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Arlindo Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Moncho Tomas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Se7e getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Décio Bezerra hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Marco Sabóia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moncho Tomas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Se7e's Luiz Eduardo Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Barriga in the 34th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Marco Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Moncho Tomas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. Marco Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moncho Tomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Lino Andrade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Moncho Tomas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 60 minutes, Walmir França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Se7e's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmir França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Se7e booed when Real Quemado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xzavaier Malmonje didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xerardo Barriga charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xerardo Barriga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xerardo Barriga kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Real Quemado FC's Xerardo Barriga got a free kick in the 67th minute. Moncho Tomas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Andrade in the 78th minute. After 78 played minutes Real Quemado FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Baz. 81 minutes into the match, Real Quemado FC's goalkeeper Moncho Tomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Sabóia. 83 minutes into the match, Real Quemado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Loureiro came free, but Moncho Tomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Arlindo Loureiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moncho Tomas. The goal made the score 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Sabóia in the 91st minute of play forced Real Quemado FC's goalkeeper Moncho Tomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Se7e left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Quemado FC.
