Enio Palmeira started the match with the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, U.S.Normande's Laurent Lagneau tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute of the match, Guillaume Senet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vágner Silva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vágner Silva made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Alphonse Bardin sent off a good shot on target. Ulysse Poquet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Palmeira in the 11th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Biot during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Enio Palmeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulysse Poquet was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute of the match Maragassume AD - CIMZ got a corner. U.S.Normande's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raphael Bezerra ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Alphonse Bardin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Guillaume Senet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vágner Silva. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Vágner Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Senet in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Maragassume AD - CIMZ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Elder Palmeira hit a great ball. A hard shot by Laurent Lagneau from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Vágner Silva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Patxi Papin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Silva having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ali Biot took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Vágner Silva to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitinho Mangueira during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Maragassume AD - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Mangueira. In the 44th minute, Elder Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maragassume AD - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. U.S.Normande's Guillaume Senet was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillaume Senet made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Celso Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maragassume AD - CIMZ and the U.S.Normande players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Maragassume AD - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Celso Almeida. After 57 minutes of play Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Vitinho Mangueira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th minute of the match Laurent Lagneau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vágner Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, U.S.Normande's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Bezerra came free, but Ulysse Poquet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vágner Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Biot went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Célio de Godoi got a free kick in the 69th minute. Vágner Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patxi Papin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Patxi Papin came free, but Vágner Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Ademar Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Raphael Bezerra got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ulysse Poquet. When U.S.Normande's Roman Bez in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal.
