The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by 蒋磊冰 in the 4th minute of play forced Durazno FC's goalkeeper Melchor Acuña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Ofelio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that 李潮潮's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Acuña was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Sebastian Gotzon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 孟宁寒 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 孟宁寒 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 孟宁寒 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Ofelio's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Carmelo Lehen's late challenge caught a 山东泰山队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Lehen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Carmelo Lehen got a free kick in the 17th minute. 李潮潮 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Melchor Acuña when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Durazno FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gogo Iturri hit a great ball. Erubiel Malvin charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Malvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Erubiel Malvin got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes Durazno FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Lando. 狄真南 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Melchor Acuña made a huge save. 孟宁寒 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Ofelio in the 27th minute of the match. Raimundo Ofelio scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 孟宁寒, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd match minute, 山东泰山队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 洪峰升 to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Ariel Totakoxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Durazno FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 山东泰山队 the free kick. Ariel Totakoxe hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 狄真南's late challenge caught a Durazno FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 狄真南 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, 山东泰山队's 狄真南 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melchor Acuña. Melchor Acuña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.

The wind increased when 蔡德悦 made the kick off in the second half. When Sebastian Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Durazno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Gotzon couldn't finish the play. Melchor Acuña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 蒋磊冰 in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes 山东泰山队 got a freekick which was hit by 袁海鹏. If Eliseo Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 山东泰山队's 蔡德悦 got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 蒋磊冰 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Acuña having to make a save. 狄真南 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Melchor Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, 蒋磊冰 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 山东泰山队's supporters rose to their feet, but 蒋磊冰 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Acuña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If 狄真南 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 蒋磊冰 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see 山东泰山队 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
