In the 8th minute, Flan Mixto FC's Oscar Tome dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some careless play in the Flan Mixto FC defense, Demetrio Egidi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alonzo Pere. The Flan Mixto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alonzo Pere should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the game, forsal FC's Alberigo Cavaliere nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonzo Pere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 17th minute Demetrio Egidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Demetrio Egidi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Pere was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 29 minutes into the match, Flan Mixto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Mastronardi came free, but Alonzo Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Alberigo Cavaliere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank De Laurentiis charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank De Laurentiis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, forsal FC's Frank De Laurentiis got a free kick in the 35th minute. The long shot by Oscar Tome in the 35th minute really tested Cesare Albanesi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Alberigo Cavaliere notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Flan Mixto FC's Alonzo Pere. Alonzo Pere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elpidio Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cesare Albanesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Flan Mixto FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. forsal FC were winning 1-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demetrio Egidi to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Corrado Mastronardi made a precise shot to the right of Alonzo Pere. Flan Mixto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-9. In the 57th match minute, Flan Mixto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Otsoa to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Egidi got free with Alonzo Pere in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonzo Pere came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by forsal FC's Alfredo Rizzo. But to his dismay, Alfredo Rizzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. After a rather tough play, forsal FC's Emiliano Contaldi got a free kick in the 69th minute. Oscar Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Albanesi having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Flan Mixto FC's Elpidio Michael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesare Albanesi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonzo Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Rizzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Cavaliere in the 85th minute of play. When Fabiano Iannotti fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored forsal FC's protests and gave Fabiano Iannotti a yellow card for diving instead. 89 minutes into the match, Flan Mixto FC's Oscar Tome broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. forsal FC's Cesare Albanesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Michael in the 93rd minute of play. Alonzo Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Cavaliere in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over forsal FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Flan Mixto FC throughout the match.
