After taking down the ball on forsal FC's corner Alfredo Rizzo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aldo Marulli quite easily take care of the ball. Monkey D.Luffy's Aldo Marulli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Monkey D.Luffy from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the forsal FC defense, Demetrio Giampieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesare Albanesi. The forsal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesare Albanesi should have stopped the shot. Aldo Marulli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demetrio Egidi in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match forsal FC got a corner. Monkey D.Luffy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Rizzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Rizzo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aldo Marulli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 24 minutes, Arturo Papetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monkey D.Luffy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Papetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 minutes of play, forsal FC's Demetrio Egidi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Marulli was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 played minutes forsal FC got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Mastronardi. Aldo Marulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Egidi in the 31st minute of play. Aldo Marulli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Rizzo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, forsal FC's Alberigo Cavaliere ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aldo Marulli. Aldo Marulli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 41st minute Alfredo Rizzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Marulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monkey D.Luffy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Alfredo Rizzo scored to the left of an out of position Aldo Marulli, making the score, 4-2. In the 46th minute Alfredo Rizzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Marulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Monkey D.Luffy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberigo Cavaliere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After 58 played minutes forsal FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Lucantoni. Alessandro Galliani hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Demetrio Giampieri made a precise shot to the right of Cesare Albanesi. forsal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. The supporters of Monkey D.Luffy booed when forsal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Contaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monkey D.Luffy's Aldo Marulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Rizzo in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Demetrio Giampieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monkey D.Luffy's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Giampieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesare Albanesi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Monkey D.Luffy getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Flavio Serantoni hit a great ball. Cesare Albanesi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monkey D.Luffy. Corrado Mastronardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Marulli having to interfere.
