Isac Gusmão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 李潮潮 in the 3rd minute of the match. 汪飞明 made a great header on 山东泰山队's corner, it was just that SC Angrense's Isac Gusmão managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to 山东泰山队 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. 蔡德悦 hit a great ball. Daniel Regalado kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, 狄真南 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 山东泰山队 and the SC Angrense players grew even worse after the yellow card. 孟宁寒 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Regalado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes 山东泰山队's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sálvio Carvalhal who took care of the corner kick. SC Angrense's Sálvio Carvalhal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 孟宁寒 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 28 minutes, Artur Rego mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Angrense and the 山东泰山队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artur Rego hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 李潮潮 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 山东泰山队's 孟宁寒 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save 山东泰山队 from getting a goal against them. Sálvio Carvalhal, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Daniel Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟宁寒 having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, SC Angrense's goal looked a bit too open when 狄真南 came free, but Isac Gusmão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of 山东泰山队 booed when SC Angrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, 山东泰山队's 汪飞明 tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Rego to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SC Angrense's Isac Gusmão got control of the ball when 李潮潮 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When 蔡德悦 fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 山东泰山队's protests and gave 蔡德悦 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute of the match Gregório Lages sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 孟宁寒 skillfully saved the ball. 狄真南 struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Isac Gusmão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 山东泰山队. 62 minutes into the match, SC Angrense's goalkeeper Isac Gusmão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 狄真南. 蔡德悦 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isac Gusmão came out and tried to block the shot, but 蔡德悦 slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 68th minute. 孟宁寒 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Rego in the 74th minute of play. 李潮潮 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Isac Gusmão made a huge save. 李潮潮's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Isac Gusmão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 李潮潮 got free with Isac Gusmão in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd match minute, SC Angrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Abrantes to maneuver through the defense. If 狄真南 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 山东泰山队's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
