Roma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Tono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Efren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chelsea Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Teofilo Tono scored to the left of an out of position Valentin Efren, making the score, 1-0. Roma FC's Teofilo Tono got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Breyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Gualterio Abastas lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 40th minute, one of Roma FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Roma FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ivan Txeru in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Valentin Efren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute of the match, Camilo Gasteiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leandro Breyer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Chelsea Football Club booed when Roma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Roma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Gasteiz came free, but Leandro Breyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
