Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barnabás Kutas started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Sándor Vermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Zombies and the FC Steaua Pildesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eric Frântu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gyula Bodnár in the 11th minute. Barnabás Kutas had several of the FC Steaua Pildesti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Eric Frântu as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 16th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Ficsinescu to maneuver through the defense. Valer Cobâlcescu's late challenge caught a Green Zombies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valer Cobâlcescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sándor Vermes to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Isvoreanu came free, but Ede Szalontai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mircea Isvoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ede Szalontai having to interfere. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imre Tandori didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Valer Cobâlcescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Green Zombies's Ede Szalontai didn't even have to move. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sándor Vermes hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Valer Cobâlcescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

FC Steaua Pildesti's Eric Frântu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ottó Veres in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Green Zombies's Ádám Radnai got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes of play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Mircea Isvoreanu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ede Szalontai was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Vlăsiu came free, but Ede Szalontai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ede Szalontai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Vlăsiu in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Barnabás Kutas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Frântu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ede Szalontai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Vlăsiu in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Gheorghe Vlăsiu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vali Dinculescu charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vali Dinculescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Vali Dinculescu. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Steaua Pildesti players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Green Zombies.
