When Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Oscar França in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nelson Rocha was a little too slow when Elpidio Udalaitz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 41st minute, Valdomiro Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Rocha made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Roque Cordarryl sent off a good shot on target. Roque Cordarryl struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Nelson Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL CERVECERO F.C.. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar França was the one to do the kick off. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Nelson Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Guter in the 96th minute of play. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
