But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. Elpidio Udalaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Popan having to interfere. Pardina's Olimpiu Popan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Aragones in the 35th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Narcis Negrescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Justo Dimo to make any attempt to save it. After 40 played minutes Pardina got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Ştiubei. After 44 minutes, Angelo James mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL CERVECERO F.C. and the Pardina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in EL CERVECERO F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Pardina's Robert Stoica got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Justo Dimo.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rareș Nicoliță made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rareș Nicoliță during the 52nd minute. A collision led to EL CERVECERO F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Christian Sanduru hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Pardina's goalkeeper Olimpiu Popan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavio Guter. Olimpiu Popan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Aragones in the 75th minute of the match. Justo Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Nicoliță, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Justo Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Nicoliță in the 77th minute of play.
