In the 14th minute, Chayo Faxardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Seven Tempest FC defense, Corneliu Cismaș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaizko Gao. The Seven Tempest FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaizko Gao should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Sorin Ghișe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizko Gao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Ghișe scored 1-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaizko Gao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Remus Zăraşcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seven Tempest FC's Gaizko Gao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Remus Zăraşcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaizko Gao. Seven Tempest FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remus Zăraşcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Sorin Ghișe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sorin Ghișe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navigatii Bacău's Costin Răchitan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Navigatii Bacău from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urtsin Cadrecha was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Remus Zăraşcu took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Gaizko Gao to make any attempt to save it. In the 54th minute, Toader Opriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaizko Gao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Zăraşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Navigatii Bacău booed when Seven Tempest FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lekubegi Briones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtsin Cadrecha kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Urtsin Cadrecha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seven Tempest FC and the Navigatii Bacău players grew even worse after the yellow card. Seven Tempest FC's Gaizko Gao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Cismaș in the 77th minute of play. If Corneliu Cismaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, Seven Tempest FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lekubegi Briones to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sorin Ghișe in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaizko Gao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Seven Tempest FC's Lekubegi Briones got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Seven Tempest FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Navigatii Bacău were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
