The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferdinand Cado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Auguste Lorre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urtsin Cadrecha's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seven Tempest FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teddy Wendling was slow to take the kick. During this time R.C. Marseille's players had a chance to rest. Omar Suchet kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtsin Cadrecha in the 16th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Auguste Lorre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes Seven Tempest FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teddy Wendling who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Teddy Wendling got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaizko Gao quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Cado got free with Gaizko Gao in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cyril Bec kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Auguste Lorre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtsin Cadrecha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Urtsin Cadrecha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Auguste Lorre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Ferdinand Cado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.C. Marseille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Cado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaizko Gao was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Honoré Lottin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Honoré Lottin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 45thth minute of the game Ferdinand Cado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seven Tempest FC's Gaizko Gao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Escudié. Paco Polanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urtsin Cadrecha made a kick off. Ferdinand Cado struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Gaizko Gao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.C. Marseille. In the 65th minute, Paco Polanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, Seven Tempest FC's Urtsin Cadrecha made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Auguste Lorre was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Kevan Gouverneur. Nando Carradelo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Auguste Lorre firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute of the match Seven Tempest FC got a corner. R.C. Marseille's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nando Carradelo ran over to the corner to take the kick. R.C. Marseille were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
