The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Lander Paez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seven Tempest FC the free kick. In the 7th minute, Chayo Faxardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Pol Languard put in a rough tackle. In the 10th match minute, ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pol Languard to maneuver through the defense. Nando Carradelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lander Paez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizko Gao having to interfere. Gaizko Gao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lander Paez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Gaizko Gao was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Lander Paez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lander Paez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 25th minute, Nemesio Otero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Lander Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lander Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaizko Gao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Dueñas in the 36th minute of the match. Gualberto Amiot struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gaizko Gao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★. When Chus Arnaez fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seven Tempest FC's protests and gave Chus Arnaez a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Seven Tempest FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Gaizko Gao had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Florinio Abbatte's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 45th minute, Pedro José Solminihac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes, Seven Tempest FC's Nando Carradelo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximiliano Aguirrebeña came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seven Tempest FC reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urtsin Cadrecha was the one to do the kick off. Gaizko Gao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Dueñas in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seven Tempest FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florinio Abbatte was slow to take the kick. During this time ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Seven Tempest FC's goalie and right to Nemesio Otero. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Seven Tempest FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lekubegi Briones's late challenge caught a ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lekubegi Briones helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Lekubegi Briones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florinio Abbatte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaizko Gao. Seven Tempest FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lander Paez in the 58th minute of play forced Seven Tempest FC's goalkeeper Gaizko Gao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chayo Faxardo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chayo Faxardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Seven Tempest FC got a freekick which was hit by Chayo Faxardo. 59 minutes into the match, Seven Tempest FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abundio Apparcel came free, but Gaizko Gao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abundio Apparcel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oroitz Ocaliz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play Seven Tempest FC's Chayo Faxardo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 74 played minutes Seven Tempest FC got a freekick which was hit by Chayo Faxardo. 3-0 became the score in the 77th minute when José Carlos Dueñas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Abundio Apparcel managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Abundio Apparcel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaizko Gao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lander Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Dueñas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizko Gao having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Seven Tempest FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualberto Amiot came free, but Gaizko Gao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ were the better team. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
