When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Kasper Persson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ntinos Vlasakis to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Giannis Tzanetos made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Kalkavouras in the 54th minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Adrian Billberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ΟΦΗ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fotis Triantafyllopoulos hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, Börna Bulldogs's Karl-Johan Örtlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ntinos Vlasakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Börna Bulldogs reached it. ΟΦΗ were furious when Fotis Triantafyllopoulos was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Börna Bulldogs's Karl-Johan Örtlund got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ntinos Vlasakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börna Bulldogs's Adrian Billberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Börna Bulldogs from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Michalis Semos. For all the effort they put into the match, the ΟΦΗ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Börna Bulldogs.
