If Chaouki Loussayef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moisés Ferreira made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Moisés Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Chedli Habib Benfrej's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Palmeira was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Symba's Ammar Aziza seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ammar Aziza the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Symba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ammar Aziza had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Symba's Ammar Aziza got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Symba's Karim Ayari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Ferreira in the 94th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Chaouki Loussayef took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Chicão Palmeira to make any attempt to save it.
