A collision led to TS Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Grzegorz Zjawin hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Lawrence Gonzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Marajda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Lawrence Gonzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lawrence Gonzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Templars FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Templars FC's Oliver Friggieri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd match minute, Templars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Trapani to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Templars FC's Nick Grech got control of the ball when Slawomir Mudry tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Keith DeGaetano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Keith DeGaetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wojciech Marajda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TS Wisła Kraków:s Wojciech Marajda showed great skill when he stopped Oliver Friggieri:s penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zachary Rekawiczka made a kick off. Nick Grech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Zjawin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Wojciech Marajda made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Lawrence Gonzi sent off a good shot on target. Lawrence Gonzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored TS Wisła Kraków's protests and gave Slawomir Mudry a yellow card for diving instead. Leonard Milko hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Slawomir Mudry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wojciech Marajda was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Lawrence Gonzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lawrence Gonzi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. When Zachary Rekawiczka fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Templars FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
